VINTAGE NEW YEARS

I love this Vintage dress. I got it a few years ago from a swapmeet I frequent for only $3. I love the large fringe pieces at the bottom of the dress. I always seem to pair sequins with silver. I'm in love with small purses lately. Larger purses seem to act as storage, so this little chain purse from Zara is perfect for me. This is a great dress for New Years, but I honestly plan to stay at home in my PJs and have a glass of wine with my boyfriend. No crazy party for me. :)

TRUCK STOP

I had planned to have my lovely friend Carlos Q, photograph me elsewhere but it has been crazy chilly here in California. I wanted to stay close to home, so he shot me at a semi abandoned truck stop. We were critiqued my a toothless truck driving woman. I kept my accessories to a minimum with this outfit. Usually I adorn my silver rings and bracelets with gray, but I already had a hat and chained purse and I didn't want to do too much. I love the hat. It makes almost any of my outfits complete.

HOLAS TO MY CHOLAS

I was going to post this on Wednesday of this week but I went out with some friends and stayed out well past my bedtime. Anyways here are some images taken by my friend Carlos Quinteros. I promise I'll try to smile more...Maybe.

LITTLE LIGHT LEFT

The weather has changed here in cali but it tricks you. It's almost cold enough in the morning to wear a  jacket but by mid afternoon it's scorching hot. So the layers just peel off through out the day. The tank I'm wearing is actually swapmeet swagged, as well as the 70's Leo necklace and silver rings. I prefer swapmeets than thrift stores, but I frequent both.
